Beth Bourne is a concerned mom of two teenagers in Davis CA. In 2021, she noticed survey results that showed Davis Unified school district had one of the highest percentages of “trans-identifying” students in the state. Over the last few years, she has become an “accidental activist” fighting for parental rights, fair and safe women’s sports, free speech, and exposing the medical scandal around “gender affirming care.” She has filed dozens of FOIA/public records requests with the public schools and local government agencies around gender identity curriculum, library books, surveys, policies, and activities.

Beth co-leads a local parents’ support group with Our Duty, an international parent advocacy organization, as well as chairs the Moms for Liberty, Yolo County chapter.
