Rick Baker

Rick Baker is President and CEO of the Grand Rapids Chamber, a role he has held since April 2011. A career chamber of commerce professional and accountant, he began his career in 1988 as Director of Finance & Membership for the Rochester Area Chamber in Minnesota, later leading the Newton Iowa Chamber and the Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities Chamber, home to John Deere. Under his leadership, the Chamber has focused on business growth, workforce talent, and civic advocacy for West Michigan. Baker is a graduate of Upper Iowa University and earned his U.S. Chamber Institute for Organizational Management certification at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
